i am looking for some advice on what i should use for flow, i have a 70 gallon tank basically 3'x2'x18" mix reef. something like would 2 or 3 jebao rw4 be enough or 2 rw8 or a mix. everyone thinks they have a ton of flo but i see such a range of tank sizes using same models. thanx

The only thing I can say is that I have one RW20 in a 180 gallon and at its lowest speed and in intermittent cycle, it is too strong. Blows sand everywhere, knocks stuff around etc etc. I put it near the bottom of the tank and face it upwards.

I ve heard so many similar stories like yours. im leaning more toward 2 rw4 and try that, if i find it not enough then i can add a third. if too much ive got a spare. 3 gives you more otions for flow anyway. im guessing you can have a master and 2 slaves with the one controller

I've got an rw4 in my 46 bowfront and its definitly not strong enough. I would think an rw8 would be the minimum.

I have 2 RW8 in my 4 foot 120 and they are plenty good. I think two RW4 would be more than enough for a 3 footer.

I have two RW8s in my 150 gallon tank that is 6 feet long. I have them on one of the pulsing wave modes (forget what it's called). I have them dialed up to max and the wave they make is just perfect as the crest comes up to about 1/4 from my eurobrace. I thought about the RW15s but I would have to dial those down a tonne, so the 8s are perfectly fine for me.

I love my rw8, quiet, very controllable and powerful
