looking for a adult female bangay cardinal to replace the one who died and my male is sitting in the corner.if you have one let me know.thanks

Does anybody has one?i bought one but don't know why she died after few days.might be sick because she was sitting in one corner and not eating.so i'm still looking for one..

Just curious.. How do you sex them?

Aside from the dorsal fin being longer the males mouth is squared off compared to the female's, whose curve tends to mirror the curve of her upper nose.

This is not reliable. The vent method as outlined in that article Shane Graber wrote using my photos is an accurate way to sex them once you get the eye for it. Over the years, I've noticed there are many more males in the fish shops than females.
