Downtown PG this morning at 7am heavy smoke from fires turning daylight into night

Yikes! Have they given an air quality alert for you? Must be playing havoc with those with asthma, etc.

I generally don't pay attention to air quality advisories mainly because I am not affected by it not to mention I spent 14 summers fighting fires so this is nothing new to me

Wow....forest fires? Never seen on here in Ontario myself.

looks like less than we had this morning, it was almost like a light fog when I got home.

The fires in B. C. are even choking us out here in cowtown. Last night was the worst I've experienced. Even reduced visibility. Air Quality was expected to drop to 5 out of 10.

Calgary was super smoggy today from your fires. Keep your air pollution on your side of the boarder!!!

A few years back we had a lot of smoke coming from forest fires in Siberia. Amazing how far smoke can travel.

probably coming from the US fires actually, that is where ours has been coming from for most of last week.
