After midnight...

Hey all,

Just wanted to comment on something I noticed for the first time tonight after midnight when the lights were off... for some reason a few of my fish vertically line up what appears to be beneath the influx of flow from the skimmer... the rest of the day during wake hours they just swim as per normal around the tank minding their own business... but only late night after the lights are out they do this... ? Anyone else see anything similar?

I've seen it once in Finding Nemo. Monitor them for the next couple days in case they're planning an escape.

Yup, I think you hit it right on. JT, do you see any pelicans around the window?

(Or maybe O2 levels drop after lights out)

yeah, probably low 02 levels... try creating better gas exchange, try using a powerhead to create more surface agitation, that should do the trick.

I actually have 2 PH's and quite a bit of surface exchange going on, but oh well, I just assume it's the same... but maybe they're all gonna take off one night

It just looks so peculiar... they line up almost perfectly vertically.. 1st my powder brown, then my Potter's angel, and sometimes +/- a clown
