Just a couple quick questions. How many in this build your oun sumps and which web sites /books /have plans for it ? and what are some good fish to get in a start of a new tank ? I not sure if I should just buy a prefab or build it myself and how big and how much room should I have extra for equipment later.

Me and my friend built a sump out of a Rubbermaid water trough, the kind you can get at the farmer coops.

$110 for this HUGE thing. Toss in some baffles and wham-zam, instant sump.
