Wanted- smal piece of tempered glass
 

The glass that covers one of my 250W metal halide bulbs shattered and I can't find any way to replace it. Does anyone have an old, broken, MH fixture that has a piece of glass in it? The piece is about 5" x7"

I might have one kicking around, I'll check tomorrow, if not I can get one made for cheap

Those work lights, about 250-500 watt ones have a heat resistant glass.
We used them on a construction site one time and the glass gets super hot, so its good for heat, unknown if UV gets filtered out.

FWIW, I ran non tempered glass for years.

You can go to Canadian tire or a princess auto and pick up a cheap square spot light and use that lens. I'm sure it's tempered and uv
