sad that the little guy shuts up during the day...
I saw a comment on youtube that someone trained his to stay open during the day ....

only was able to google this...

I have found feeding my rhizo mysis 30 minutes before lights turn on will keep it open for the day and happy.

If it is closed up, squirt some food in its vicinity. Wait a bit, then give it a proper feeding. Then it should stay open for several hours. Good luck.
