mangrove ?
 

i have a about 9 that have their first leaves, my ? is i have to take the light out thats been lighting them because it causing this nasty slim looking algea, it an 40w LED Spot light with a frosted lens, it grows the mangroves nice but to much light for my sump, cand i just put those mangrove in a pail of saltwater with a light to keep growing

sure you can, put some mangrove mud in there, that should do the trick...

been reading i guess i can put some sand in the bottom
