Just wondering what these things are I see crawling around my tank. Hard to see in picture but they are in the zoas and must be 1/4" big or bigger.

i think you are right eli. I have noticed they mainly live in my zoas and can tend to irrate them. I havent noticed and zoa loss though. Is there anything i should be concerned about? Should I get a fish to control population, if so which is best?
|
I go the extra length of keeping all pods in extreme population in my system for my corals especially my NPS...although if you want to keep the population low I believe a six line or an 8 line wrasse are good choice.
|
If you want to control them, black leopard wrasses will eat them but they are a bit more difficult to establish than the 6-line and generally much less aggressive. I've seen mine catch and eat them. She is always hunting.

My zoas and palys love to eat those.
