Check out this ebay auction, this skimmer is huge for up to 2000 gallons and only at 99.00 when I last looked. Would this fit in your cabinet.

Check out the pump,it looks like an electric motor.

it is about a 1/4 hp motor running a pump hard mopunted on the end (i think)
