Looking for Bulk reef sand
 

I am wondering if anyone knows where I can get bulk reef sand as my self and a friend are setting up 2 230 gallon tanks. Between the two of us we need roughly 18 50lb bags which is around 900 lbs in total.

I've never seen it sold in bulk, and nobody would be likely to have that much. I would talk to a local retailer and see what kind of deal you can get pre-ordering.

Holy cow that's a lot of sand .

J&L aquatic does bulk and anything over 100$ is free shipping .
Not sure if weight is a problem though for shipping. Or you can go to each store around and buy a few bags at each . :p

I'd also check with Drs. Foster and Smith, as when I set up my system last year they had a sale and even with shipping and exchange was cheaper then I could get locally, but then I was only needing 300lbs.

Lets just say the post office was really ****ed at me, as I had sand, macro rocks and kettle bells all arrive in the same week.
