Big Al's salt ad, misleading?

$24.99* for IO salt, okay see the asterisk for a mail in rebate, no problem. Isn't until I get home see it's limited to a maximum of 2.

Isn't there some that terms and conditions need to be included in a ad?

Its been like that for yrs & doesn't have to be listed in their ad cause its not their rebate.

I didn't even bother mailing in for the rebate last year... Even without that it's a pretty good price.

Asterisk is there. It indicates read the small print. It's the most common thing in any advert. From big Al's to cars.

Sorry you missed it somehow. You are probably not the only one.

$30 bucks great price compared to rest of the year. Even on sale for $40 makes me excited.

My issue was before leaving read through BA site for the "small print" conditions and no where did I see the limit mentioned, just mail in rebate. Doesn't seem fair practice if you add additional terms and conditions outside of original ad.

Just saying if ad had $24.99* ** (* after mail in rebate, ** limit of 2 mail ins) would have understood before I left the house.

Now don't get me going on the limit of 6 pails...

You can go in everyday during boxing day week and get six. As I picked up six boxing day and six today. Great deal.:biggrin:
