Don't mean to be a Donny Downer but introducing a male to an established female, particularly if the female is older, will cause some major aggression issues.

Is your friend looking to breed beardies? There are more than enough neglected beardies for sale on Kijiji, that I don't believe adding to the problem is responsible.
