In sump filter

Whats the best kind of filter to use in your sump like between the walls. Reason i ask this is when i do water changes i suck all the crap outa my sump but when i readd the water there is still crap in there that gets mixed up then make my tank all cloudy for a few hours.

Some people, including me, use micron bag filters on the sump inflow.

where can u pick those up??? and how long do they last

You can clean these relatively easily every 3-4 days just rinsing with hot water, and once a month using bleach. They are made out of polypropylene so they should last for a while. Getting them is a tough part. I got mine, rated at 100microns, from US wholesaler. I will be getting also 50micron ones pretty soon. You have to order at least 25. PM if you are interested I can sell you one or two.

You could always try JL Fluid Stabilisers out of Nisku. We use them for oilfield filterbag supply.

Ocean Aquatics sells the filter socks as well. I am not sure of the Micron size.

But you will have to call or email to purchase, I don't believe it is listed on the website.
