Bristle worms. I consider them good, or at least harmless.

+1. I consider them to be the best clean up crew :)

bristle worms

i keep them till 3" long then i remove them-i heard that larger ones can become predators

seasalt_newbies 11-10-2013 02:12 AM

How is the best way to remove them ?

Just be sure you dont touch it with your bare hands. They pack a bit of a sting

Harmless till u touch them =P. I was moving my gsp that's on sand bed n got painfully poked by the bristles on those things hiding underneath. I think the best investment I ever made in this hobby so far was a $20 pair of aquarium arm length gloves. Each time I put my arm in the tank it would get all numb and very painful to the bone for at least 1-2 hrs after.
