I have 2 electric blue hermits that have good sized shells but both today fought each other over a shell less than half the size of their current shells and now one is in this tiny shell which is funnier than hell and the other is following the winner with the intent to take it from him.

Stupid thing is there is like 20 empty shells for the taking that would better suit them but both want a half shell go figure

Yep, mine do the same it doesn't matter how many empty shells there is they are always having a battle royal in the tank

Haha gotta love it. I had two fight over a small piece of rock. I now am the proud owner of a mobile rock:mrgreen:

Never seen mine fight, I just toss them in to battle like para troopers and let them graze greener pastures. I think a large red leg hermit killed one if my snails tho since he's rocking a large snail shell.
