Shock and awe

Couple of nights ago I got a hell of a shock when I looked in my tank and saw what appeared to be a huge slug on the tank glass after the initial shock upon closer inspection I saw was my Tiger tail sea cucumber now nightly I see both of my cucumbers perusing the glass on the tank it's oddly disturbing but very fascinating as well. My tank never ceases to amaze me

Sorry for the picture quality taken with my iPad2

I have a black knobbly, I wonder where he is....

Tiger tails are nicer though I think.

Well hopefully they don't make their way in to your powerhead. One of the reasons I won't have any in my tank.

The nice thing is none of my current tank inhabitants cannot get into the power heads due to the design and and small slot openings of the new hydra koralia power heads

I looked in my fuge and seen a cucumber wrapped around the fins of my koralia that provide flow for my mangrove roots. Don't know how long it was there. You work 12hr shifts so who knows how long it can last stuck to the PH, they are not strong enough to get away from it.

Very true I've done what I can to minimize the chance of that happening putting the power heads on timers and lots of clearance to escape but never know what can happen
