Reef Art

Just sitting in my office and was looking at the diving pictures that are hanging on the wall and I got thinking. Wouldn't it be kind of cool to have those pictures (or others) painted by an artist.

Does anyone have any sort of reef art in their home more specifically paintings? I am the only one that has had this thought?

When you say it fast it sounds like re-fart. I re-fart all the time, that is to say I am a great producer of re-fart. Sometimes it involves painting, but I think it is more like producing atmosphere...

I can't see that anyone would be interested in my re-fart but I'm open to interested parties.

I think if you want a painting with a reef theme that would be cool. It can be helpful to provide photos as reference material/inspiration. Just don't ask the artist to somehow do a painted replica of a photo, I think there are photoshop filters that can do that. If you do end up commissioning a piece, make sure to keep us posted!

Yup, you can do it in photoshop with filters and adjustments. I've done it with some of my automotive/racing photos and it looks pretty cool.

I've been thinking of doing some up if there is a demand for them.

My wife is expressive with a brush. ;). It's in her field.

Where are you? Pm me. I can provide more detail. Along with a painting she did for me.

We have a few fish related art pieces in out house. Not paintings, mostly marine/fish ornaments and wall art. Most have been collected on our travels.
