Import/export ban
 

I know we have discussed this at length in the past but has this proposed ban been signed into law yet and if so when does it take effect?

Do we know how much it will affect us in Canada per se yet?

What "ban" are you referring to?

I forget what the bill was in the states but it was proposed to stop importing certain species of coral and fish to the US it was talked about a lot this spring

Are you talking about that bill which created a lot of hype since it had a lots of species (including deep water ones like lokani) being proposed to be banned?

Yes sir it is

That one has been postponed for now. They will revise the list on June 2014.
