Brown polyps do not open up....any ideas why?

initally were wide open, and now are about 1/2 open and seem to be reaching up. The rest of the tank/fish appear healthy and normal. Any thoughts on these polyps?

Doesn't matter, open or not, they're BROWN:razz::wink::twised:

On the more serious not, you didn't post any of your tank specs so pretty hard to diagnose with no info other than they are "1/2 open and seem to be reaching up". Could be water quality, a fish nibbling on it, etc. Who knows without more info on your tank and its inhabitants.
