flow rate for 50g
 

I was just wondering what the proper flow rate for a 50g return side would be

What's in the tank? What flow can the overflow handle?

theres a mixture of sps,lps and soft in the tank as for the over flow im not completely sure what it can handle im getting the tank used and moveing my existing tank over to it

Well, I'd probably say something like a MAG7 or 9 for a return, assuming the overflow could handle it.
