What do u guys dose with your dosers?

Hey I'm about to pull the trigger on a new ghl sa 3 or 4 doser and I'm wondering what u guys are doseing? I'm primarily going to be doing alk and mag. And I don't really wanna mess around to much mixing batches up and am looking for stuff I can use that comes premixed.

I have a 3 pump doser but have only ever used two. One for alk (sodium carbonate) and calcium. I have never dosed mag.

I used to dose Ca, Alk, and Mg, but since I added a Ca reactor I've just been dosing Mg

I have 3 BRS dosers and dose Cal, Alk, and Mag. I use sealed old salt containers to store the mixes, so really I am only mixing up chemicals once ever two months.

My dosers only run calcium and alkalinity with the Fauna Marin Balling Light additives added to each. I add magnesium and potassium to my waterchange water as neither are used up fast enough to case a significant drop between waterchanges.

calc and alk only for me.

I use Marine Magic triple doser and dosing Ca, Alk and Mg. Works great for my tank.

Why not dose mag?

Are you using a salt for water changes that is high in mag?

Well, high enough it seems. I use DD H2Ocean and Reef Crystals on rotation and the RC alone seems to have enough mag so long as I keep up with my water changes (every two weeks). My mag has traditionally not depleted fast enough to warrant dosing.

Mg, Ca, dKH currently, and in the future I will probably be adding an amino acid, potassium, and maybe vodka. So far though I have two pumps allocated to Mg, and one to each Ca and dKH. The two pumps are soley relately to my tank size/volume and my unwillingness to stand and hand dose gallon after gallon to my system.

GHL 4 doser:
alk, calcium, magnesium and vinegar

Vinegar because I plan to add a lot more fish and want to keep nitrates very low.

I am not sure if its a new tank but I am dosing mg ca and alk on a vertex. I was going through 180 ml alk, 160 ca and 120 mg daily....now it seems to have stabilized at 150 alk, 140 ca and 120 mg.
