Jebao Dc Pump Pre-Order
We are doing a Pre Order for the Jebao DC Pumps. They are marked down $20 off retail pricing for the following 2 weeks. In 7-10 days i will be confirming #s and order will be placed and it will be 1 month production time for pumps. I will run the pre order pricing for 2 weeks from today. So a few days after the order goes in pricing will go up $15 for the rest of the pre-sale until they arrive when it will be set to full retail price.
The pumps output and power usage is fantastic. If you are in the market for a dc pump at a great price this is the time to go for it. Please keep in mind that the pump does have a slight hum when running at high speeds ( so if your system is dead silent and you are not tolerant of any noise this may not be for you). The pumps price is set at he pre-order pricing so order yours today and please do not use any type of promo code on top of group buy price. Thanks http://www.reefsupplycanada.com/jeba...rollable-pump/ Product Description -very powerful -1.5" in and out allows for hooking up proper sized plumbing without head loss by reducing right out of the gate. -soft start ramps up slowly after power loss or when coming back from feed mode. -feed mode @ 10min -control chip in controller (not the pump) which will allow for modding pump to be controlled by reef angel/apex/ect.. -value for the cost is great. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...pse15a1b9d.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...ps5c1e528b.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...pse0f19390.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...ps1cb899fb.jpg |
Did I miss it some where. Gph and head height? Thanks.

Can you define slight hum a bit better?

Final question, are they pressure rated, ie will work on becket skimmers?
|
I am not familiar enough with becket skimmers to say. Hopefully someone else can help.
|
Tried to order on your site, however once you get to checkout it changes the price for the 12000 from $160 to $179.20... Why?

Taxes? |
OK, it's been too long of a day:redface:, excuse the idiot while he finishes his order :)
|
Correct on the taxes. 12% in BC and 5% everywhere else.
|
Haha, you would be surprised how often it happens. The way they lay it out makes it look funny.

Okay so I thought I would do a quick review of this pump as I was lucky enough to buy the first sample that Reef Supply Canada got in.
The unit I got was a 9000 series, and so far I am very happy with it. Here are my thoughts: The pump appears well built. The lines are clean and there are no obvious areas where you think "cheap". There are rubber feet on the bottom to help with vibration. The inlet and outlet are 1 1/2" which gives plenty of opportunity to plumb it how you need to. There are additional parts in the box to help you plumb it to flex hose if that's what you wish to do. Typical of Chinese pumps, the thread on the inlet and outlet don't taper so remember to only tighten your MPT connection a little past hand tight or you might crack something. Use lots of teflon as well. The controller is simple. Not too different that that used in RLSS and Speedwave, although it is different. The buttons are simple and easy to use. In my situation, I had a QuietOne 3000 with 3/4" in and out hard plumbed in previously so I stepped the outlet on the Jebao down to the 3/4" as well. I realize that this restricts things and I understand that it's affected my head pressure. That being said, this thing is currently running on setting 3 of 7 and it's overpowering what the Quietone did. I have run it all the way up and when doing so, it pushes my dual 1" overflow very hard with about 5ft of head plus what the restriction does to it. There is a slight hum to this pump. Some of which may be attributed to the fact that I have it hard plumbed in with only a small piece of flex hose just at the outlet. It also could be affected by how I've stepped the 1 1/2" down to 3/4". This tank is in my office and so noise is a concern for me...but my skimmer is louder than the pump so I don't notice the hum. I only hear the hum when everything else is off. I would say my QuietOne was a tiny bit quieter. I have only been running this for 2 weeks and I know some pumps (even Tunze's) take a while to fully quiet down so I'm hoping it continues to get better. This was a killer bang for the buck and I'm hoping they introduce a 20,000 or better yet a 25000 so I can replace my Reeflo on my big display with one of these. |
Only getting orders for the 12000/lph pumps so far. Wondering if i should bother with the smaller ones. Let me know if you have any thoughts or are thinking of one in the future.
Thanks |
Thinking of order one. One question I that have is it 1-1/2 straight thread or taper thread.
|
It's straight thread..so you have to be careful not to over-tighten.
|
I've been thinking of running 2 - of the 12000's on 2 separate returns for my 210 but I'm leery of that 13'-15' of head pressure...
I still haven't seen an actual flow chart. Has anyone else? |
I posted a pic of chart in the dc pump poll thread I put up. I will post it here when I get back home this evening.
|
|
So, i did some plumbing today i changed from 1" to 1.5" plumbing and put the dc12000 in-line.
Here is how it worked out: http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...ps919f56f4.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...psee73ba41.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...psc74d81e8.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d9...psaf546641.jpg |
Any update on these preorders? Ive emailed but no response.,
Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free |
Yeah, they keep delaying the delivery date. It looks like about a week. As soon as I get tracking I will post an exact date here.
Sorry for any inconvenience. |
Text sent about DC6000.
|
Hello
Cool with the controller. Titus |
Updates ???? it is getting to be a very long wait, 2 months now past expected. Not too happy to have pre-ordered now!
|
nrosdal, any problems with the Jebao external (leaking or temp)?
Reason asking is thinking DC12000 to replace Dart on CL. |
No issues at all so far. Other then getting the damn things. Some DC 6000s coming this week and 12000s coming within a week of them. Will be enough to cover all orders and about 2 weeks will have enough for new orders. If anyone can't wait please email and I will refund as it has taken way longer then expected.
|
Hey Nick, will this order that's coming in have the WP25's as well? I'm pretty anxious since they've been delayed a couple times and a couple emails have gone unanswered.

Hmm, not sure about the emails. But wp40s are coming this week with the dc6000s and wp25s and wp60s are coming the following week with the DC12000s. |

Any updates on the WP-25's? Did your supplier short ship again? Last I heard you had a delivery confirmation.
Thanks, Greg |
wp25s went out Friday afternoon. Tracking confirmation should come this morning. Let me know in pm or email if you did not get it and i will look into it. There was enough to fill wp25 orders and most of the dc12000 orders. They said dc pumps back in stock within a week or so and more will come as soon as that happens to fill the final outstanding orders and give stock.
If you don't have tracking by this afternoon email me your order # ect. Thanks Nick@reefsupplycanada.com |
How about the wp40's ? I've emailed a few times with no reply.
|
Wp40s came and went but more on their way. Notification and tracking will go out as soon as they arrive/ship.
Also, with how Infrequent the wps have been coming they will no longer be available to purchase unless in stock so you will just have to order when they arrive instead of getting in line because it is getting to be too much of a hassle how it is set up right now. If you have an order in that is waiting you will be filled first and then when they arrive for sale i will post here and then make them available for purchase so you guys can still get the first shot at them. Thanks |
I ordered mine oct 30th , so mine wasnt shipped out?
|
That should have been filled a few times over. Can you please email me your name and I will get you sorted out ASAP. Sorry that got missed.
