They're pretty cool. I put one in my tank a couple of years ago and it's still around. Never done anything bad that I can see.

I think there was a problem with roughing in the corner and goby tender interferrance.

Quinn, I'm sure you could make that pic bigger if you rally tried!!

I'll work on the name change shortly

Quinn 06-14-2004 07:42 PM

Yeah not sure how that happened. I've reduced the size for dialup users (like me).

I added a couple conchs to my tank over the weekend and after a few hours I discovered my whelk feasing on one of the conchs. :frown:

I've moved him to my sump now.

Thanks for bringing that up! I'll remember to pull those little buggers out of there before getting a conch...

Probably best to play it safe then and throw these guys into the fuge next time I have one.

AJ_77 06-15-2004 04:11 AM

Alan, if the ones you have are the same as mine, they are fine with conchs.

They don't look like teevees tho, been in other threads, sharper spiral on the shell, max out about an inch or so. Some kind of nassaridae

Don't flush anything, I have places to put things like that.

I agree. I've heard from reliable sources that flushing hitchhikers makes you impotent and your hair fall out!
