that oceanic place on river road

likely has been covered and I know at one point, the bailiffs locked it up, but wondering what happened to it. in other words, what happened from the point of lock up onwards? Can't remember the guy's name who ran it, but seemed to have good stuff there and was helpful.

Gotcha, never been that way. It's the only "Oceanic" business I knew of. Ignore me :)

gobytron 06-17-2013 05:08 PM

Ocean Aquatics.
Wendell was the owner.
I believe he looked for a buyer for some time but one never surfaced.

Shame, as they seemed to often have the best livestock.

Plainswalker 06-18-2013 03:09 AM

For sure. I got my first corals from them, and all are still doing well (hammer, frogspawn, and toadstool).

Yes I know right? Just interested of reef atm, hopefully there will be more selections in the stories future. Purchasing online is little risky, don't want to kill any lives:)

Jim from Ocean Aquatics is now at Rogers Aquatics (120th Ave and 80 St. roughly)
He is expanding the saltwater section and has some nice frags
