very cool video! thanks for sharing! my cleaner shrimp are pretty affectionate but I don't think that is quite the same! :)

That is awesome !

very cool. However; from my understanding - the clown trigger has the ability to chomp your finger clean off. But, I could be wrong.

We like putting our hand in and letting the cleaner shrimp tickle and clean, but that's about the extent of it.

My flame wrasse let me pet his side once , then he slowly swam off. I haven't tried again yet.

My lawnmower Blennie will occasionally rest in my hand but my hand has to be in the tank for 5 mins or more its pretty cool when it does rest there though

I used to be able to do this with my 8" monster as well as with my 8" Scribbled Angelfish...they were like little puppy dogs

....I miss those fish :(...stupid corals got in the way

Doug likes to pet tangs. He's done that with a few different unicorn tangs that were at the stores he's worked in/at and he also petted Zeus a Titan trigger that live in a rock bin. Doug's also petted my blonde naso tang. He is braver then me in that aspect

I have a wrasse that will swim into my hands and I can pet and my sailfin eats right from my fingers. But definitely nothing like your video, that's pretty cool!!

Not to be a downer, but i've always been averse to making contact with my fish because i don't know if it'll mess with their slime coats. Though I understand that is a very healthy looking CT so maybe it'll recover as if nothing happened.

It's a choice nothing wrong with the no touch rule at all

Fish do lose parts of their slime coat all the time through and it does regenerate fairly fast

my zebra eel will cirl around my arm

cool! I have had 4 Clown Triggers spanning over 30 years and have always enjoyed watching them. if you can bring him to the surface following some food, they will actually growl at you....almiost like a dog. I found this with my last one about 5 yerars ago and sometimes regret selling him to go to a reef tank.

Aww, how cute! It's all fun and games until someone loses a finger though..
