Marine Salt Water Reef aquarium for sale - 150 gallon
 

Downsizing to a smaller condo, so having to sell my beautiful 150 gallon reef tank. Is run with a sump system underneath, and comes with everything including RODI unit and $5,000 in custom cabinetry. Too much detail to list here, but will answer any serious enquiries. Have put ~$13,000 into this, but will look at a reasonable offer. Not interested in parting it out.

Since you don't want to list, pics would help. Why are you making the potential buyer do all the work? Very difficult to put effort into deciding to purchase something if you don't want to put effort in advertising.:der:

new to all this, and I don't have enough space here to post pics, etc.....so am tyring to figure a way to supply pics and whatever else a potential buyer would need. Stay tuned.....

I was just being diplomatic with mkj, as sometimes you have to put up with idiots. Pics are on the way....body is of solid maple and built for me by a professional finish carpenter. The only reason I am selling it is I believe it will be too heavy for my new place, even tho I am speaking with a structural engineer who is confirming such. I would probably be open to parting it out somewhat, but really preferring to sell it as is. Also, time is not really an issue....I could sell it between now and the late fall.

Hope that worked for ya , it is a nice setup I can see where the money went

4 powerheads - all Tunze 6055's and run with a Tunze 7095 controller which has given me 3 years of flawless service. The lighting is Tech 5 (6 lights) run on timers. Sump is ~ 30 gallons and the Vertex 180 Skimmer is run there.

The unit is plumbed to the basement where the RODI unit supplies zero TDS water to the reserve tank. There is absolutely No salt creep on the aquarium!

Also, approx 130 lbs of live rock would be included....and all kinds of extras.

It breaks my heart to sell this as the cabinet work is not even 2 years old, but I will certainly be buying myself a smaller or nano type set-up when I get myself established into my new place in the fall in Calgary.

One more thing...if someone wants just the aquarium with cabinetry, I may be willing to sell just that as I could easily "part-out" the live rock/fish, etc.

My professional life has been good to me, so not really a question of money...but more a question of this going to someone who wants it, and would get a great deal in the process. It is located in Okotoks, btw. After putting ~ 13G into it with 5G for the cabinetry alone, I would like $5000 for it - all in.

Looks even better in person. And all in really good shape/clean no damage that I recall.good luck with the sale

Was initially wanting to sell all together..
 

But if someone wants just the tank, cabinet and sump.....would be willing to sell just that. Overflo is accessed by the side door built on to the left side. let me know if interested. Would like $3,500 for that as the cabinet all by itself was $5G....though willing to look at reasonable offers.
