Acrylic and Weld-On

Where is the best place to get my hands on acrylic (everything, sheets, tubes, etc.) and weld-on glue?

At work we've be dealing with All West Plastic (15367-117 Ave), nice and helpful people.

Few years back, also got some panels at Johnston Industrials Plastics (4724-91 Ave), no complaints about the service there either.

One piece of advise, dont go with Weldon 16.......Bubbles like crazy. Even when you have aplied it so that there is no air under the glue, it goes and creates its own bubbles as it hardens.

bluetang,

what would you suggest?
or what worked good for you?

sorry, no experience with acrylic yet...

I ended up just using the Weld on 16 and was not happy with the results. Jack from Ocean Aquatics recomended another weld on product but the name slips me right now. Its a two part solution. to apply use a large syringe. aparently the stuff hardens in 30 minutes so you have to go fast. When i get the name i'll post again

I was informed that GE Polymer and Johnston Industrial Plastics would be the places to hit for acrylic and glue. Now does anyone know where GE Polymer is? I couldn't seem to find it on superpages.ca.

I'm planning to make an external CO2 reactor for my plant tank and perhaps a calcium reactor sometime in the future... not exactly a regular joe DIY project =)
