Acan Plus
 

Just picked up some Acan Plus today and wanted to see how other feel about this product and what results they saw.

I've used several bottles of the original formula.
My LPS grow and plump up alot more than the other commercial foods I used in the past.
It is made in Calgary, so as far as I'm concerned, I have no need to look any further.

My only beef is that if I over feed, my skimmer goes nuts. (this happens with everything else also)

How often did you feed? I got the powdered stuff which you mix with water.

Truthfully, once a week if I'm lucky.
In the past it was daily, but now im lazy about it.
As such, I've lost my suncorals and half my duncan.

Is there another version now?

Best food. I use it on all smaller polyp coral 2-3 times a week

I've been using Acan plus for the last few months now with great results. My acans have grown much faster since I started using it, and I also feed it to some of my other LPS as well. Great product !

Where can we get Acans PLUS in the lower mainland?

I was looking around and couldn't find it locally either... Would like to know too...

Don't think you can. I bought mine as a group buy last year some time.
organize another one.... if the guy's still making it.

And yeah the stuff makes the skimmer go crazy. Even 24 hours later mine goes like I put soap in the water.

I just emailed the maker of Acan plus.... Or the email on the bottle and asked about ordering some for vancouver. Will let u guys know what I hear.

What do you guys do with the ratio of water to food?

I run it thin like coral foods and just spray some on at night.
I've heard ppl make a paste and drop a clump on the Acans mouth. Lol.

this thread made me realize I hadn't fed my LPS pico tank in a while. Made a nice goopy 10 ml syringe of Acans plus and dosed away. All three open brains, my small acans frag, goniopora, hammer coral, and ricordia gobbled it up hungrily.

Anyone in Vancouver area wanting some join the group buy.
