Aqua Digital Inc are very proud to announce that we have been granted distribution rights for Tropic Marin. This was not an easy task as they have very high requirements, so it is an honour to be accepted for the Canadian market. Tropic Marin is one of Europes leading aquarium supplement manufacturers having one of the highest respects in the industry, so naturally we are very excited to bring the range to you here in Canada We will slowly expand the range as the year goes on, but will start with the important elements first then in the coming months bring their highly sort after Bio-Aactive Reef salt to the market also. Although expensive the salt really speaks for itself, well worth investigating. Here is a link to their main product site to wet your appetite. http://www.tropic-marin.com/web/english/homepage.html Please post here names of any products you wish to try. |
I like the look of the phosphate adsorption cartridge since i am lazy and tired of emptying and filling the cartridges myself.

Michael, what's the MSRP on the Pro Reef salt these days? If I remember right, the last time I saw it for sale was J&L Aquatics back in 2007(ish) for $90. Is it still around that price?

So, Has anyone heard that Tropic Marin is one of Europe's leading aquarium supplement manufacturers?
Or that our friends at Aqua Digital Inc are very proud to announce that they have been granted distribution rights... |
Yep Tropic Marin are a keystone player for over 30 years in Europe, being myself from the UK I know first hand it is a product everyone carries, the salt is used widely especially. But irrelevant of that, for a company in this industry to be around since 1964 says something. Many others we know of are barely 10 years old.
"The first boxes of Tropic Marin synthetic sea salt left our factory in Germany near the end of 1964. The older and outdated standards in aquarium and reef keeping were soon broken by the revolutionary use of pharmaceutical grade raw materials and the inclusion of all of the natural trace elements found in the ocean. Additionally, the custom built manufacturing machinery producing a homogeneous mixture of salts and trace elements brought much of the progress and success now attributed to Tropic Marin sea salt. Tropic Marin’s reputation in the keeping and breeding of marine animals has made it one of the most used marine salts in the world." http://www.tropic-marin.com/web/english/homepage.html click on philosophy link |

Any news on the balling salts. The
slight delay Tropic Marin have seen the huge uptake intheir system so are completely rebranding the range. as it stands right now its called Bio Calcium, but that does not portray Han's product so they are going into complete repacking and a big marketing campaign, as such I wont see the new product for about 2 months, but the rest of the range is on its way.
Do you have this salt yet?
Tropic marin are in the process of rebranding the balling salts for better retail awareness. I am meeting with the guys from TP at Macna to finalise the shipment.
I mean the reef salt, not the balling salts.
we looked into it but everyone wants cheap as chip salt and would not pay the value of the Bio active salt. We have to base distribution on viability.
Oh, bummer.
