I love the macro shots so I will include both.

We have so many pieces in right now that we just didnt have the time to take the crazy close up macro shots but these ones give you an idea of full colony size and coloration up close.

on average, how big are these colonies?

Good question and I couldn't agree more on the full colony pics. Macro pics are nice to look at but useless for me when deciding if i want to buy. Unless you have a very skilled eye ( which I don't have on a good day) it's hard to judge colony size even when you show the full colony when there is nothing more than the colony cropped and jammed into the pic. I have been more than dissapoint when I see ummmm the micro frags that show up at the LFS. I would guess the size of the last group of pics at 2 inches or less...

We have been trying to find a set of white rulers we can use for taking our pictures for sizing but have not found what we are looking for yet.

I've seen some of the corals! All I'm going to say is :shocked!: :crazyeye:

I was very disappointed that this piece got a bit of damage from shipping.
But we have been feeding it the Fauna Marin LPS pellets and its is recovering nicely!
I will see about getting some progress pics.

Third pic of the awesome polyps. Are these frags or colonies and what are they so I can ask stu to bring some in for me.

Whats the point of you putting up pictures when we can't buy from you.I've always wondered why.

Lol. Ya he dangles the carrot, we harass the LFS to get prices to find out they were sold before the posted pics go up....... Then the prices HI CARUMBA. :lol: awesome corals but so many roadblocks.

It's simple guys, we see the pics and we ask our LFS to order from Reef Wholesale. It is frustrating though trying to track pieces down, and by the time they figure out where it went it has been sold.

I guess this sales approach works,they've been doing it for awhile.I wonder if selling to the public would be in there plans at some point?

I usually just PM my LFS with the pic of the coral I'm interested in. If it hasn't already gone to another store it usually arrives with the LFS' next RW order in a bag with my name on it :-D

It can be challenging tho cuz many times the piece will have already went to another store so you gotta act quick.

Surprisingly that piece is still up for grabs for your local dealer :)

Third colony is a colony, I will try to get a shot of the full colony up for you tomorrow.

RW had it's beginnings in retail with Ottawa Inverts. We made the move to wholesale only and have quite an extensive dealer network across Canada.

We do only sell to our retailers, so the best way is to order WYSIWYG pieces or species specific, is to;
PM your LFS with the pic of the coral you are interested in as well as an email to sales@reefwholesale.com with the name of your local LFS and the photo. If the piece is still available RW will get in contact with your local LFS about having it added to their next order.
