Because Calgary has the best weather for reefing.... :D

That's why my corals doesn't do too well, because too much snows for the last few days. :biggrin:

I used to visit Edm and Cgy for business occasionally. I have seen snow as late as May in Edm and as early as Sept. But in Cgy, I have seen it in June, July and Aug, too.... LOL

Very first time we ever went to Calgary was July and we went to the zoo and got snowed on...

Lived in Calgary for 5 years, then Canmore for 20. I've seen snow every month of the year in Canmore, June, July AND August. It may not stick around, but it comes and goes. In Calgary you can definitely see snow in June or Aug.

No, actually all the good coral is in Saskatoon at Bayside Corals! :D

Well, I used to spend time at the top of Red Square (aka Petro Canada building, and not even sure what it is called now), and have seen snow from there a few times in the summer. Also was up there once during a windstorm, and could feel the building swaying. Calgary gets some pretty wild wind storms, too.

Folks on the Island are way more helpful and friendlier than people in Calgary. Also, the Flames "suck". :lol::twised::lol:

I returned home from calgary after 10 years because of landing my dream job .
Grew up . up island . then moved to yyc for work.. would still be there happily today . but This job came up , and i would have moved wherever to get it :biggrin:
