I have been trying to get a Purple Monster from Darryl forever....

I first eyed his stuff last year, we've been waiting for spring to ensure shipping went well.

Shipping was actually great. Less than 20 hours in box from Ontario to Victoria, I arrived at UPS as I got the email to pick up, and 10 minutes from home. Floated for an hour(ish), temp was good and transferred to frag tank. Polyps out on most 10 minutes later. The Pearlberry just glows from across the room, incredible piece!!

We need to talk.....

Maybe when its time to frag I will get one shipped back from BC to ONT :)

With the reputed growth rate of that coral, I just may have a spot on the list in about 2 years -lol
I'm sure that after I make a spot for it in the display, it won't NEED fragging ever.

My daughters were thinking of heading down to victoria in the summer and I asked them what the possibility was of going to an old, tattooed guys place to buy coral frags for me. The answer?........"Mom, that would be creepy" :lol: I guess I will have to plan a trip down myself

To be perfectly honest, I got no pleasure in removing Mark. I tried really hard to work out some etiquette rules with him, without much luck. He does currently come here under a different ID, and has agreed to not post. I've even been giving some thought to inviting him back, if he can agree to be slightly less annoying :)
