ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-MAG-DISKS-...item4156130a06 might be of help if nothing is found locally perhaps just drill standard frag plugs and add something like this: http://www.magnet4less.com/product_i...0e20bbe45c29e9 |

I get mine from Bulk Reef Supply. Join the current group order and get them there. Group ordering just gives a small discount, I was buying them 4-5 packs at time.

Thanks Steve it was your build that made me look for them lol

4 mag frag discs for $10 + shipping, that's steep! I'd need 25 of these pack & there's no way I'm spending that much for mag plugs. There has to be a cheaper but safe option.

KJ magnetics also tells you how to rubberize the magnets. This would work well in the aquarium and not corrode the metal.
Although if you do this it will have less strength as the magnets will be further from each other. I wonder how much magnetic force you would lose? http://www.kjmagnetics.com/rubbercoat.asp |
I wrote KJ and they responded right away. kudos to them
Here are two links which would help us make frag shelves. The first one with a max load table. Second with a formula http://www.kjmagnetics.com/blog.asp?p=aquarium http://www.kjmagnetics.com/pdfs/aquariumshelf.pdf |
