Refugium lighting.

Can anyone recommend something for over a small refugium? Preferably LEDs.
Also, would 2 mp10s be sufficient flow for a 75g? With a 1200gph return pump. I have 2 korila 1400s right now and I had to shut one off because it seems to be way too much.

I'm using a TMC AquaRay 500HD. It is great so far. It costs ~$110. It has 4 Cree XPE whites, and 1 Cree XPE blue.

Quite possible. My bulb is $30. Lol.

Keep me in the loop, or start a thread?

Perfect! Just what I was looking for. Way cheaper than I expected too.

Cut by hydrolite their just up the road from red coral. They should have exactly what you need and then some.

I use a cheep clamp on fixture that takes a standard bulb then use a par 30 bulb led. I get them from Costco. The fixture was like 12 bucks and the bulbs are 25 and it grows my cheato like crazy. Works good lights super bright and I think it's only 15 watts and is dimmable

heres the bulb as u can see its led, 15 watts dimmable. its extremly bright because its a exterior flood light so its weather proof and its only $24 bucks and i buy them at costco. my cheato grows crazy and its a very cheep alternative. and u get no heat off this setup eather

I;m currently in the pursuit of a good efficient and cheap sump light and I am thinking of purchasing this unit from Ikea...

It has a color and intensity controller, 4 strips and it costs $39.99.... anyone have any experience with these? and is 2700k warm white enough for cheato?

just look for the wattage or the lumen output. A few watts like the jbj will grow some. But if you really wanna get some nutrient export done i would try something man sized

I use a 70 watt LED on my fuge and it grows like mad (it is also the proper spectrum for algae growth).
