Group buy from fragit?
 

Is anybody interested in doing a group purchase from FragItDan?

I'm going to be ordering some frags from him in the very near future and was wondering if anybody else was interested in saving some money on the shipping?

I just talked to him and he's got around 400 frags right now. If you goto his site fragit.ca it directs you to a facebookpage of recent stuff he's got. Gonna have to contact him to find out more.

Yea same. Just talk to him and see what he's got. I've asked him for pictures of LPS and zoas. Are you thinking around the same time as I am to order?

Is picking them up at the ferries an option to save shipping costs?

I believe we'll get free shipping using harbor air if we spend over $100 which I think we wont have a problem if were doing a group order. Dan can maybe confirm this.

Free shipping if you want to pick up from the ferry (can do either Horseshoe Bay or Tsawwassen)! That is a great idea :)... wish I had thought of that myself! If that's the case it would be a $20 frag credit (can be used on the same order) for every $100 spent. Sound fair? More pics are up on the Facebook page with a few more to come tomorrow (just took them tonight but it's too late to get them up now).

I do a $20 shipping credit for every $100. Harbour Air is usually about $20 per $100 of corals so ends up being free, but if ppl want to grab stuff from the ferry then I am happy to send them over. It costs me basically nothing so I would just pass the credit along in free Coral :).

I live in surrey and work downtown. If your picking it up at the ferries I can meet you in surrey. I was planning on doing an order on March 15th if that works, not sure if that's too far away for you?

I'd be happy to pick up from wherever suits most people, I was planning on spending around $100 myself so free shipping would not be an issue anyway, I work around downtown & live in poco, & can drive so whatever works for the majority, as for dates, again whatever suits the maj.

I was looking for March 15th like previously posted. That also gives Dan time get the orders in and finishing fragging the ones that still need to be done. I'm sure he doesn't need that long but that's I time I was hoping for. Let me know if that works for everyone or not.

March 15 works for me. A few of the requested pieces still need to be fragged from the mother colony so that will give a nice amount of time for things to settle. I will be away the next 36 hours and might be a bit slow to reply.

I'm cool with it...so,Dan how do we order from you,through your fb page?

I am not setup to actually process orders online. In the past I have just put stuff on hold for people by them commenting on my FB page. That way it is first come first serve based on the photo comments. I can send an email or PM summary with the list of pieces and total price (I don't charge tax). People eTransfer or PayPal money over to me and it always seems to work out great. If anyone else has other ideas I am game :)

A Free Shipping order is coming over to Vancouver confirmed for March 15. All PMs replied. As the order is getting free shipping already, in lieu of the $20 shipping credit I am just giving a $20 frag credit for every $100 spent :)

How are we going to collect this order? I live in poco an work downtown so if this helps I am happy to do a little driving.

I'm working downtown till 4 then was planning going and picking up the package. What time are you working till?

Will probably finish around 4 myself, I'm in kits tho

I also have a friend that might be able to bring it over to Vancouver on the 16th or 17th who lives in PoCo.

Yes, three of you confirmed as of today... Yourself, Kermit and Nivelm09 (approximate spellings :)). What are people's thoughts about picking up on the weekend? I have a friend who can bring the order over and will be travelling from horseshoe bay to PoCo. I could split things into two boxes and depending on where you guys are you could grab them off him anywhere along the way.

I work downtown till 4pm and live in surrey. Kermit'da'Hermit what would you be more interested in meeting on Friday at the harbour air place at 4:30pm or meeting on the weekend in poco? Nivlem09 says north van but I'm not sure what he's thinking in the whole pick up ideas.

I'm in poco so if somebody was coming this way that would be awesome, I could probably meet up with any others to distribute too, I'm a busy man but will always spare some time to help out a fellow reefer :biggrin:
