it will depend on what your trying to achieve , theres different settings for different results. for me i run one on pulse and one on reefcrest , i use the mp10 on pulse and the mp40 on reefcrest. 75g cube. |
I have 2 mp10wes and I run mine on the purple or yellow modes.
Would like to know what everyone else uses as well! |
i use one on my lil cube its on reef crest at 80%.
getting a wave going is cool until it ends up on floor |
thats funny it just happened deadly little powerhead
|
I run mine on lagoon at 100%

I run two along with my mp40 at 80% on reef crest (yellow), one mp10 at 80% on reef crest (yellow)and the second mp10 at 80%on nutrient uptake (purple).

Reef crest at 80% for me. I just wish it wasn't so damn loud!
|
I have one running reef crest at 100% along with 2 Koralia 1050's.
|
Had 2 on my 55 <36x18x21> thought there was lots of flow till I bought a mp40 to hold while replacing a dunked control. mp40 is a little strong for the some of my corals to be right in front of but an inch or 2 out of the stream is ok. mp10 left mp10 back mp 40 right. 10's at 100% 40 at 80ish. I switch between tidal swell and nutrient uptake once every while.
to bad the 10s wont fit on the next build 2 new 40s is going to add to the cost :( happy with them other than that. |
I have one mp10w es and is on short pulse mode, running at 50% to minimize the noise, supplemented with two koralia 750.
|
I have 2 on opposing sides of a 40 breeder and use Reef crest and Nutrient transport modes.
|
I have four MP10s running, two on each side. Two opposing sides are running reef crest on anti-synch. Other two are on tidal or nutrient uptake.
|
Running 3 100 percent on reef crest mode. One on back glass and two on either end of the tank
