Have we decided on a time/place?

Figured we'd have one at my place,was just going to bump my post for date.Was going for June5 or 6.
Does this date work for people(would like to do the saturday,june 5)

I can't make it that weekend unless you are going to make it a family party =) its my time with the kids =) The weekend before or after are great though.

I could always miss a meeting :eek:

June 5 should work for me. I don't *think* I have anything to do that day...I could bring some frags too.

any weekend would be fine for me. but, the 2nd week of june would be better as that would fit in with an already planned trip to edmonton.

The second weekend would be okay for me if the gathering is during the afternoon versus the evening, since I work at 11:00PM.

I will already be north of Sundre on weekends, so I could run up to Quinn's and ride along with him (if I am prepared to have the crap scared out of me again :eek: ) and come back with him in the evening.
Unfortunately there will be no zoo frags until the Fall, but the ones I have then will be worth waiting for. :mrgreen:

I would prefer to do the first weekend(have other commitments the following weekend)and yes it would be earlier in the day for those who are travelling any distances to go home.

Jim, go to Canadian Reef's site and look at Neon Green/Orange zoos. This is an excellent grower. I have at least four big frags of that, which are doing very well. I also have the Neon Orange, and Fiji Orange. I think two frags of the Neon Orange, and no frags of the Fiji Orange. :biggrin:

Awsome colors!I have quite a few zoo frags,but will always want more,especially vibrant colors :cool:
Any tricks to help speed growth?

No tricks that I know of. It seems to me that some grow naturally fast, and some much slower. I throw in some freeze dried Phytoplankton at very irregular intervals. I am not sure if it makes a difference. :rolleyes:

I think that after a year some will still not be ready to frag come Fall. :sad:

I could make it on June 5th. :eek: That's a first. :lol: If it was the following weekend I have to work. With the new tank came lots of frags, I will take inventory, glue up the accidental frags and try to make it where ever the meeting is at.

I am not sure yet if I can come. If I do there are very few Zoanthid frags available yet. If you look at http://www.canadianreef.com
I have three or four of what he calls "Neon Green/Orange zoos". They are big frags. There are also a couple of what he calls "Neon Orange". In actuality they are more red, and have blue centers. :mrgreen:

Ok let's solidify this. June 5th, 6:00PM, at Jim's, who will supply his address and directions. It's on the north end, that's all I know. Barbecue, I'm assuming we all supply our own meats and beers, potluck on salads and chips and such? Who's with me. :mrgreen:
