How do you currently feel about your display tank?
 

When you think about your display tank, does it make you happy or sad?

And don't ask for a "meh" option. I purposefully left it out :P

What about angry? Sometimes it makes me angry, but for the most part happy :biggrin:

Mix emotions... Happy cause I love it and happy in general but sad cause there is so much more I wanna do but don't have the knowledge/experience or money to do so

we all know that this hobby is an emotional roller coaster ride which is why I restricted the poll LOL.

I'm somewhere in between Happy and meh, but definitely closer to Happy than meh I guess. Of course, this could change later tonight but the poll does say currently :lol:

Could have changed by the time you finished creating the poll lol.

Happy with a strong sense of "this could be looking WAY better but have patience jackass at least you have a tank again".

and of course by creating this poll I just totally jinxed myself.. going home to check on the tank now..

I kinda know how you feel Greg.. I felt like this one time. Then I grew a pair, HTFU and finished my damn build. True story!

Grew a pair of what? Whiskers on your chin!!:razz: I will continue on the 300 build on one condition, you have to help me get my dosing set up properly.

about my tank obviously, jeez.. I'm not depressed. :lol:

I'm finally happy with mine. Sad that there's still so much empty real estate available just waiting for new corals to fill it up. ****ed that I have stupid gargantuanly huge snails that keep knocking new frags over...yes they are glued down. But overall....happy.

Just so you know Kien, I am planning on buying a P3 with all the bells, whistles & gongs, plus already have a 4 pump doser to go with it.

Mostly happy, I love staring at my tank, a ill sad tho cuz I have a bit of a cyano problem

I have monster snails, and they can't dislodge the ecotech coral glue :wink:

I'm generally happy with my DT

Umm yep they can!! I'm using the same glue and they've knocked over 2 that have been in the tank for a couple of weeks.... Little buggers.

Ok, so I've been educated on gluing frags and apparently I'm a little special :lol: scrub lr, dry frag, dab on glue, dip in tank, add another dab of glue, hold frag in place on lr for about 19 secs and voila! Gonna go try this now!:lol:

Still happy with tank, and to my gargantuanly huge snails, my humble apologies for blaming you.....:mrgreen:

Right this second, happy. If my reef wasn't so damn interesting and rewarding, i would have thrown in the towel long ago. I hope it keeps getting better and i didn't jinx it!

The first six months of fatherhood have destroyed my tank. Quite depressed.

The baby girl however, very good.

I have a sad...because my tank is empty and I lack the free time I require to make that one last big push before I can turn it on.

Very sad. Our hawkfish jumped ship last night.
I tear up every time I look at it.

I am pretty bumed out just a bad ick outbreak and lost 15 fish. i had just added my last one to. Working out of town sucks. But on the corals have never looked better now

my tank looks bunk, it's all scratched up

I'm totally stumped. Not really happy as I see several problems still to solve and a couple new ones in the last couple days. Not sad. Not "I don't have a tank."

I'll put down happy maybe but I truly like Sphelps asnwer the best. Kinda sums it up nicely!

My new sexy clam made me happy for a week. But now I discover all this aiptasia all over it. I'm sad. :sad:

I'm almost totally sps,and refuse to automate,hands on for years.Found out months all my levels were low and things were looking crappy.Since i've kept on top of it,looking from the top down makes me smile.

And shave...:)

Right now sad. I love the tank but I am frustrated with my lack of knowledge and ability right now.

I wish I said no to automated. My tank has gone to ****. Automation came with baby.

Hugest regret was adding a doser. Wasted my money. Have never has more issues with stability.

Sad. Shut down sad.

I'm happy. Totally hands on. Mostly sps and everything is happy

I'm thrilled with mine, other than the light downgrade. Automated for almost everything, I wipe the glass, trim the frags and change water twice a month. The rest of the time is relax and watch it time :)

There's no button for stressed!!! but i'm in between happy and meh..

Happy with my 50g content with the 180 still needs the hood and LEDs hopefully soon

Not happy that I just saw a couple aiptasia appear in my tank. My Pearlescales totally eradicated my first infestation (probably had hundreds) more than a year ago..., or so I thought. Now it seems they are fat and lazy, and just go for what I feed them. Oh, well, at least they leave my corals alone.
