It's a girl!!

Little miss Cahlia Lily Rose arrived 21-11-12 at roughly 6:02 PM; 21" long and 7.13 lbs. She was born a few days earlier than her due date in the passenger seat of our car. I guess she couldn't quite make it to the hospital in time. It looks like she's inherited her mother's patience (lol) :mrgreen: .

We are both happy and healthy and although it was a bit of an experience to deliver my own daughter into the world it went very well. Luckily she didn't have the cord around her neck and she started to cry right away so it wasn't as scary as it could have been. She has a little bit of bruising from coming so quickly but is otherwise in perfect health. Big brother, mommy and daddy are very proud and happy to welcome her to our family.

Wow, congratulations. I can't imagine going through that in the car...watching my wife do it in the hospital was traumatic enough!

I can only imagine what the people in the cars around u imagined was happening in there, I have never heard of that before glad to hear all went well and you never had to suffer thought a long labour.

Thanks so much everyone :) To be honest it wasn't the plan to have her in the car (obviously) but it sure made for an interesting delivery. Thank goodness for leather seats and weather tech floor mats :lol:

Congrats! This is great news indeed. I am due in 3 weeks myself with my baby girl. I am hoping for an early delivery too but not like yours hahahaha.
