Those feeding disks are the best ... :)

The Grizz 11-20-2012 04:41 AM

That's exactly what it looks like in my tank as well, I have to put 2-3 disks in at once just to keep them all happy.

Aqua-Digital 11-20-2012 02:34 PM

They are now brining out small discs for less waste if you have not so many species and also a tropical version

The great thing also with these is that they are not a gimmick, this food is the exact same as the logs made for the public aquariums that has been heavily scrutinised by multiple marine nutritionists to even be allowed in the aquariums, so you are feeding your fish some very beneficial food ;)

Seriak 11-20-2012 02:48 PM

And where do you get those disks?

Aqua-Digital 11-20-2012 02:50 PM

in calgary -
Wais
Concept aquariums
pisces pet emporium

Are the "uncut" logs available to the average consumer? A container doesn't last very long for me, I'd totally go for bulk buys of this if I could...

What is different about the tropical version? I would be interested in trying that as well for my FW.. any word yet on when those would become available?

Aqua-Digital 11-20-2012 06:13 PM

they are about 6" thick.

Yep the fresh water will be available on the next shipment ;)

I know I asked this before but is there a Local Vancouver area shop with these?

Nope its always been a dead zone there, please feel free to beat the product over your fav LFS head and dangle them the offer of a free retailer start up pack, you would be rewarded with many things! (wife excluded!)

Bulk purchases possible talk to steve at red corals, we are doing an order right now and large public aquarium size quantities can be shipped of anything

Just be aware the logs are 1kg and once opened they will dry out.

I have 1 tang in my fish tank, I think the tang and clownfish will be the only ones that eats it. Is it true that if they don't finish it you can take it out of the tank and reuse it for next time?

Aqua-Digital 11-29-2012 11:22 AM

No, they will go off. I beleive smaller version are on the way (I think)
