Where's everyone getting Coral RX in Canada?
I bought some one shots at J&L because that's all they had. I thought they were supposed to smell like Pine Sol, these had almost no smell. |

I use Coral RX and kent marine MELAFIX.i bought a couple frags from a fellow reefer last month and there were aptaisia on the frags,so i used glue to murder the pesky critters:twised:
Glue?? What kind of glue and how??
Usually gel super glue does the trick
OK glue, how? Just put a little glue on it, then what?
Lol, that's just for aiptasia. If you buy a frag with aiptasia on it, you can just cover that part with the gel crazy glue. (its not for dipping) ;)
For dipping I take the same route as reefwars, in fact I believe is "borrowed" (stole) this method from him. Coral rx, flatworm exit, h202 etc. No pests ever in my tank. |
lol ya I know just for aiptasia, so just glue over them then put into tank with the glue on them?
Yeah it keeps them from getting light, oxygen, flow, food, etc thus killing them with out giving them a chance to reproduce
aptasia x works AMAZING!!!!
Where can you get coral dips in the Edmonton area?

Revive and interceptor!!! :D

Getto method: Plunge the attached rock of the frag into lemon juice. Works like charm
I think lemon juice practically kills everything (including the bacteria) in the rock. But I am always careful not to expose that to the coral. |
