Where does one get a large aquarium in Canada? (200-240 gal)

I have been looking for a while with no luck. I want a good quality reef ready tank but most places don't order anything over 130 gal where I am from let alone reef ready. Does anyone know of a place where I can either order a tank or get a tank made and drive to get it? I am in Kamloops BC so I am really hoping someone knows the answer.

Order a custom build, it's usually more cost effective than buy new in store.
Ask GlassDude... He builds!

I would look into Concept in Calgary. I hear only good things. They are a sponsor on here too

My recommendation is to stay away from bow valley aquarium in Calgary. I had got him to build my 500 gal and a few others built for ppl i knew also with nothing but poor quality workmanship and I know others that have had them build from them at later dates with the same opinions of quality.

Just built a 4 foot by 8 foot for me; could not be more pleased with the build quality.

Nothing wrong with their workmanship, just poor quality glass and even more poor quality customer service/attitude.

+100

Another bump for Dave and Concept. He's built all the tanks on my 1000g system so far and they've all been excellent.

Ditto on Dave at concept. Very pleased with my 180 eurobraced starphire front and my sump. Even friends who have no s/w experience call it a sexy beast.

molotov 10-16-2012 03:20 PM

Dave at Concept built all the tanks for my setup. Outstanding quality. He's the only guy I would ever go to.

I disagree.

When they made my 67gallon corner over flow tank, 1 of the drain holes was drilled so close to the edge of the overflow that the bulkhead couldn't be installed without modification.

I ended up trimming about 1/3 of the bulkhead's flange away in that area.

The tank is 3/8" glass and it was eurobraced with 3/4" x 4" glass on the top.
Accessing the overflow to install the bulkheads and pipes was impossible without removal of the sides of the brace.

Zero support from them to fix it.

Have you heard of Concept, I am sure someone will mention them eventually? :) They are pretty good. Call Dave and he will set you up.
