LF Canister filter

Hello I'm helping a good friend start his 55G tank. Unfortunately it will only be FW but I may be able to eventually turn him to the dark side lol. He is looking for a oversized canister filter, let me know if you have something available. Edmonton and area please. Thanks for looking.

I have a Fluval 3 or 4, can't remember which so I would have to check to see which it is.

In my opinion they are the best I used to have a eheim canister myself. He is looking for a used filter local. My bad I should have said in my first post.

The Marineland canister filters are on sale at Big Al's if he's interested. I'm not sure what the discount on them are though I just remember seeing a flyer.

Grizz I looked up the filters you mentioned and I got internal filters. Sorry about the no replies guys I didn't mean to offend anyone. Can you guys put a cost on the filters, I will give my friend a list of what you have. Thanks

They've changed names to the Fluval 305, 405 from the 3 & 4.

No offence taken, just wasn't sure exactly what you might be looking for.

Right that makes sense, I forgot about that.

Heres a link to the Fluvals, I think mine is a 305 but will double check in the morning. Which ever it is I usually ask 1/2 price of new if it's in proper operating order ( which it is as it was only used about 6 months )
