*** BWA *** W=WTF?!?

Usually I make sure of the sizes of the fish I bring in.

xs = Extra Small
sm = Small
m = Medium
l = Large
sh = show size

From this new supplier I saw a "W", and I wanted a blue ring angel in the store. So I thought I'd give it a try.

When I saw my invoice, I noticed she was in a box on her own.
When it was unpacked, she was in a custom double-sized box.

OMG!!! W=WTF?!?

she was huge, 14" in diameter any way you look at her, and 3" wide.

Heathy as heck, and friendly.... Almost hand feeding her already.

you have to see her in person, just so amazing and friendly.

I think I'll have to build a new custom display just for her.

Beautiful!
I envy the person who can house her! Hopefully it won't be someone who has no clue how to treat an amazing fish like that.

I will make sure of that. For the time it'll take us to pack her up, I'll have lotsa questions to ask

Aqua-Digital 09-22-2012 07:19 PM

will have to send you up some 6mm size pellet just for her!

Myka 09-22-2012 07:37 PM

Big Angels are the only thing that makes me want to have a big FOWLR. Absolutely beautiful fish, thanks for sharing! A box to herself sure hurts you on shipping charges though eh? Hehe.

I wouldn't want to see that bill. Makes the fish that much more too. I'd like an emperor that big in my imaginary 500g reef!!

Oh I have a list big enough to fill my imaginary 470-gallon FOWLR (120x30x30"). I have it all planned out and ready to go. The only way I would get a tank that big is if I could renovate a basement around it so that waterchanges would be as easy as a 5 minute bottom siphon and turn a few valves to exchange the water. I think the SPS tank would have to go though...too much work for both and too much money.

A 180g stops being a big tank when you start looking at angels that big :)
