Unfortunately not at this time. Official word is "later this year".

AI Vegas are landing Tuesday next week (18th September). We have only 4 left from the pre-order if you are looking to snap one up.

Vega Parts:

Controller:
http://applications.ccusa.com/martin/img_1810.jpg

The controller comes with a data link cable. This leads me to believe that you will be able to control your Sols using the new controller in a wired mode without having to purchase the wireless adapter for them (i think) :)

subman 09-19-2012 08:24 PM

Do you need a controller or can you use a pc to control it?

You can control them with almost anything. Director software will be revealed at MACNA on September 28th. I am not sure if you still require a controller in order to use all of these devices but we will know real soon.

Looks interesting can't wait to hear more details.... Might have sell my radions and get some Vega's

martinmcnally 09-19-2012 09:19 PM

Just got some further information from AI. If you are using the director software on PC / Mac / iPhone / iPad / Android etc you do not need a wireless controller. The apps can control the vegas directly.

Also the new wireless controller can be used in a wired mode to control a Sol system :)

Can the vega be linked to the SOL and be controlled by the sol controller?

No the vega is wireless only. It does not have a wired data port.

If you wanted to do this you would have to get the vega and new wireless controller then control the whole system from the new controller. Alternatively you could get a vega and sol wireless adapter and control it all from a PC or iPhone. However vega cannot be controlled from the older wired controller.
