I've got mine at the tippy top.....about 4" below the water line with radions about 7" above the water (running at 60% ATM).....

Glued to my back wall about two inches below the surface.

I picked up a browned out frag a couple weeks ago. I placed it on my frag rack approximately 6 inches below the surface and it is colouring up nicely.

Just remembered I have a Rainbow Monti not a Sunset Monti but I believe they need similar conditions.

My sunset is a temperamental bugger. It loves the light but bleaches easy. If I move it too low, it also bleaches. Right now it's on the sand bed in an open area and is doing alright.

I have several frags about 8" below the surface about 12" off center from 250W HAMILTON 14K moguls that are about 6" off the water surface. Water flow is moderate to strong and they color up nicely.

Mine gets 240 µmol/m2s and I have great colors.

Looks like everyone's sunset Monti loves light..

I guess I will slowly bring it back to the high light area.

They like medium light, but even more important, stable conditions.
Here is an older picture of mine (6-10 month ago).

Any way I can get you to explain these units to me?

Also mine is a light piggy, prefers LOTS of light with moderate flow.

That's the measuring unit for PAR.
