Pretty much. Ken has a good stock in and other vendors come to sell there stuff. Have a BBQ and meet fellow reefers. It's a great event ken puts on.

Really good of you to come up with innovative and fun ideas like this to help promote the hobby. Kudos Ken. Now I wish you were sooooo much closer.

There was a big one in June, I'm sure another in the fall. Check the BC forum for how it all went. Awesome.

OOHHH! This is the day before my birthday, so it must be a sign for me to attend! (or at least that's what I'll make my husband believe! LOL):biggrin:

I have been very very busy for the last few months, but I finally have a moment to breath.

We are in negotiations in a new property, and may be moving in the fall. The space is almost 300 sq/ft, if I get it I'll be calling on people to help us renovate it. If it works out, we will be moving our CB facility onsite, to allow for educational purposes.

I didn't think it'll take too much time to set everything up, unlike out first year where I spent almost 4 months setting it up. I remember fencer (Wayne) said I'd be lucky to get a dozen people to attend. Couldn't believe we had over 150.

Can't even comprehend the fact this is our fourth year for the meet, and thanks as always go to all the volunteers and supporters, and the other vendors that participate. Was nice to see a few other stores attend last year also.

I chose the Sunday after Labor Day again as it allows the people to complete their holidays and back to school stuff.

Lets make this years FF4 better than the last.

It's not BWA that makes the FragFest its all of you that attend. SPREAD THE WORD!

Free food and door prizes will always bring a crowd :mrgreen: plus it's a great way to meet others that are into the hobby.

We just got the "official" go ahead from the Edmonton food bank to collect in their name.

As of today, we at BWA will have food drop off box at the store, and money donation information.

BWA will match all cash donations on the day of the Frag Fest.

In the last 3 years we have been fortunate enough to donate over $3000 to the food bank, let's try to do it in one event.

Let's all help feed the hungry.

I am planning some SPS, also some stuff from a NEW supplier.

From today until the FragFest, anyone making a donation to the food bank at the store (goods/money) will recieve an extra draw ticket for the door prizes.

As always there will be a couple of nice goodies to give away.

Are there any local reefers planning on bringing in Frags?

Always a few, bets time for selection is at the beginning.

Don't be shy, even the ugliest mushrooms get interest, its a feeding frenzy for anything.

No just for frags too, lots of people brought used tanks & equipment.

If not, just come for the BBQ, always a good time to be had.

Any donations between now and the FragFest will get you an additional ticket for the draws.

Ill be bringing zoas and palys if there's enough interest I could bring up to 200 frags prob around 40 kinds. There will be a super low fragfest special price TBA before the day comes:)

I'm definitely in for some zoa and paly frags from you Denny. I've been waiting for a chance but it seems like I'm not around every time you make a trip. This weekend included.
