nori seaweed for tang?

Is it safe to feed the regular store bought sushi nori to tangs?
Thanks

As long as it's unsalted / no additives

Go to an Asian market and buy bulk.

Been feeding unseasoned sushi sheets to my tangs for years. They LOVE it.

I'm just wondering how offen do you feed a nori for your tangs.

Thanks. I only feed twice a week because someone told me if we feed a nori everyday then tangs never touch an algaes on LR. Is that true?

No, not true. However, you probably shouldn't have algae on your rock to begin with...

Just nutrient management. Watch what goes in, frequent water changes, best skimmer you can afford and you're good. Easy

I use to go to a local fish market when I lived in saskatoon, they sold giant bags of nori off cuts from making California rolls. It was like a $1 for a lifetime supply

I don't have any bad algae growing in my tank so far. Anyway good to know that is not true, so I will feed a nori more offen.
Thanks
