^ like said above. intruding in my zoas is this pretty little thing. not sure if its aiptasia as all I have seen are brown (I know they come in a variety of colors though) and it some what sports the body shape of aiptasia.. tell me the good news?

it closes up about as fast as the surrounding zoas when bothered, and opens just as quick, when closed it doesnt completely close like aiptasia, you can still see some of the "frills" like a zoa...
|
its an anemone, i forget the name but i had one a couple years ago they come in different colors.will sting your zoas though:P
not a pest:) |
gets to the size of a dime:P
|
hmm.. any advice on getting it separated from the zoas? should I just frag away what I can and move the zoos somewhere else?
any idea how big its going to get? --- nvm Quote:

hard to say the zoas will be fine the nem prob wouldnt like to be cut off , you can try an ice cube but id say you have to cut some of the frag off or just let it grow eventually(if the zoos dont melt) they will get used to the sting:P

I think I got some of yours Denny, been watching them to see how they behave. They will move a bit every once in a while, especially if left in a high flow area.
I've been calling them Denny-anemones ;) after some practice of course. |
